My Forest Gump Moment

Sitting here, feeling a bit bored and not a little glum, I look up at the Velux window we have in the ceiling. At that moment, a petal of blossom lands on it. I just managed to catch this snapshot of it before a gust of wind carried it away. I think it was telling me that I've read too much Wordsworth today.

Yeah, and Wordsworth never had a Velux window.

It's lovely, though. Made me realise how beautiful and precious is each passing moment of life...

And here I was thinking you were going to comment on how dirty the window was. But that's the problem with Velux windows: they make you realise how precious is each visit of the window.

Weren't they meant to be daffodils?

Yes, only you'd have to have a bloody good arm to get a daffodil to land on our Velux windows, James.
